Gravitons: The Key to Other Dimensions?

It may be possible for us to learn about these other universes, if they exist.

Let us pretend that we know there are other dimensions and that gravity is spread out into these hidden dimensions. (Go here to learn more about this idea.) Particle physicists think that gravity has a carrier particle called a graviton, so if gravity is spread out into more dimensions, the gravitons must spread out into those dimensions as well!

Scientists have not yet detected gravitons, but we have reason to think they exist. If they do, they may be putting us in touch with other universes as they travel through extra dimensions.
