The Four Fundamental Forces: What are they?

After much experiment and observation, physicists have found four fundamental forces of Nature that seem to describe the interactions between most objects in the natural world. Some of these forces are visible to us in everyday life, such as gravity and electromagnetism, while other forces, the strong and weak forces, are much subtler.
